Results
from placement and diagnostic tests are used to place
students at the appropriate level in a particular course
sequence. Students are required to meet placement requirements
before they can enroll in mathematics, chemistry, English
composition, and some foreign language courses. The placement
examination is one method for meeting a placement requirement.
Examination results are used for placement purposes only;
they do not earn unit credit.
